DOC: REFUND-01

Refund Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Digital goods can't be "returned," so most stores refuse refunds entirely. We think that's lazy. Estores refunds any purchase that doesn't work as promised — here is exactly what that means.

01When you get a refund

We issue a full refund when, within 14 days of purchase:

  • The files are broken: corrupt archives, missing files, or a download that never completes despite retries.
  • The product doesn't match its description: missing features, wrong formats, or anything materially different from the product page at the time you bought it.
  • A license key doesn't activate and we can't issue a working replacement within 3 business days.
  • You were charged twice for the same product — the duplicate is always refunded, no questions asked.

02When we say no

We decline refunds when:

  • You simply changed your mind after downloading a working product.
  • The product is incompatible with requirements clearly stated on its product page.
  • The request comes more than 14 days after purchase.
  • There is evidence of abuse — repeated buy-download-refund cycles or shared license keys.

If you're unsure whether a product fits your needs, ask us before buying — it's what the contact page is for.

03How to request one

Email us via the contact page with:

  • The email address you used at checkout.
  • The product name and approximate purchase date.
  • A short description of the problem (screenshots help).

We reply within 2 business days. If a fix or replacement is possible, we'll offer it first; if you'd rather have the refund, you get the refund.

04How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Once we approve a refund it is issued immediately on our side; banks and card networks typically take 5–10 business days to show it on your statement.

05After a refund

Refunded products are removed from your account library and any license keys are deactivated. You agree to delete downloaded copies — fair is fair.
